MARKER TRACKING / VBT
See the lift.
Read the speed.
The weight tells you what was lifted.
Velocity adds how it moved.
One lift. A clearer picture. Follow the marker as each rep becomes a result, and see how movement speed adds context to the work.

A SIMPLE SETUP. A CLOSER LOOK.
From marker
to movement.
- 01 / PREPARE
Give the camera a reference.
Print the marker at actual size and mount it flat on the outer plate. Keep the camera fixed, side-on, with the full bar path in view.
Get the printable markers - 02 / CAPTURE
Set the view. Track the lift.
Select the printed marker size and identify the bar-sleeve centre. Capture a live set, or choose the analysis range in a recorded video.
Live camera or video file - 03 / REVIEW
Put the numbers in context.
Explore rep speed, range of motion and duration. Review the bar path and movement traces, then view a result graphic or download the measurements.
Rep results + movement review
The setup matters. These are camera-derived estimates. Camera movement, an obscured marker, frame rate and calibration affect the result. Keep conditions consistent and review the tracking evidence alongside the numbers.
PART OF YOUR COACHING WORKSPACE
The plan.
The lift.
The bigger picture.
Open marker velocity from AMS Tools, or use it while logging a gym set to attach velocity results to the work. Keep the measurement close to the athlete’s training.
Video analysis runs in your browser. The tracker does not upload your footage, and diagnostic exports contain measurements rather than raw video.
